Summary of The Book:

In this book, there is a boy named Adam trying to find out what really happened in the past. His family is indangered. He is confused with his life. He needs to understand and figure out what happened in the past to see where his father can be right now. But something stops him. He has trouble remembering the past.

Recomendation:

I recommend this book for the students in 7th-11th grade. This book is a great book to read, but there are some things that may be hard to understand or figure out. I also recommend this book to anyone who loves reading mystery, sad stories, or anyone who just loves reading emotional books. I enjoyed reading this book. I have learned many new things.

A Biography of Robert Edmund Cormier

Robert’s parent names are Geoffrey and Irma Cormier. His parents moved a lot when he was young to afford rent, but he never left his hometown. His hometown was Leominster, Massachusetts. Robert began writing when he was in the first grade. While in school teachers loved his poetry. He realized he wanted to be a writer when a nun persuaded him to write a poem in the 7thgrade. He attended Leominster High school. He was the class president while in High school. He went to Fitchburg State College. In his freshmen year he had his first short story published. His college professor, Florence Conlon, sent one of his stories to The Sign, a catholic newspaper, without his knowledge for 75 dollars. Robert began his writing career scripting radio commercials. Later he became an award winning journalist. Other works by Robert Cormier are : The Chocolate War, I am The Cheese, and After The First Death.
